JORHAT, April 27: Despite being the season for the spread of malaria and other vector-borne diseases, the Malaria department is not being able to tackle the mosquito menace on a large scale, due to shortage of funds.
Secretary Health Khushnood Akhtar Lashari has said the fatal disease of malaria will be eradicated by 2013 under five-year malaria control programme.Speaking at a press conference in connection with the World Malaria Day here on Saturday, he said there was no danger to the programme in Malakand division.
