AMIT GUPTA Ranchi, June 23: The state will seek an increase in Plan outlay to Rs 9,000 crore for the 2010-11 fiscal during a crucial meeting with the Planning Commission in Delhi tomorrow. A Rs 8,600 crore Plan outlay for 35 departments was approved by the state during the budget session of the Assembly in March.
The State Government has set the target to make Sikkim the first-ever Poverty Free State of the country within the next four years. A comprehensive programme, involving all the Government departments will be undertaken for the purpose with special thrust on the poverty-stricken villages.
KOHIMA, June 18: The annual plan size of Nagaland for the current fiscal has been pegged at Rs 1,500 crore, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said. The Centre has also allocated additional Rs 712 crore to the state for implementation of revision of pay (RoP) to its employees on the line of central pay structure, Rio told newsmen at Dimapur on his return from Delhi.

NEW DELHI: The Uttarakhand Annual Plan outlay for 2010-11 was finalised at Rs.6,800 crore at a meeting here on Monday between Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. The sanctioned outlay is Rs.1,225 crore more than previous year's. It includes additional assistance of Rs.360 crore.
