Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) (Amendment) Rules, 2021
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution has issued the Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) (Amendment) Rules, 2021 to further amend the Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) Rules, 2015. The following amendments have been made: Under rule 7, in sub-rule (2) after the words “its running expenses and incentive for its use”, below has been inserted, namely: “and any savings if accrued could be utilized for purchase, operations and maintenance of electronic weighing scales and their integration with the Point of Sale device”.
