• The Big Picture, a national media festival organised by Amity School of Communications, Noida, Uttar Pradesh on February 10-12, this year, showcased documentaries, featured seminars, exhibitions, documentary screenings on sustainable development. There were also panel discussions on various aspects of sustainable development.
• Google has launched a test version of its new mapping service, Google maps. So far, it only covers the US and Canada. Such restricted access means that Google has to do much to catch-up with map search engines such as Multimap, MapQuest, and Microsoft's Mappoint.
