Fishing solutions pakistani fisherfolk have launched a movement to pressure the government to solve their problems, particulary those linked with Pakistani Rangers. The Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum (pff), which represents the country's three million fisherfolk, announced some of its protest plans at a meeting in Ibrahim Haidery, a coastal village of Karachi housing about 125,000 fisherfolk, on November 21, 2004. The pff said if the government fails to fulfil its promise of resolving its problems by November 30, 2004, it would evolve a strategy to fight Pakistan Rangers on its own. This would include a long march from Sindh's Badin district to Karachi.
