COTTON SUCCESS
High cotton prices in the US is proiNG beneficial for the Pakistani cotton growers as their cheaper cotton finds favour in Asian trade circles. with sizable amount earmarked for exports, Pakistani coarse Afzal cotton and a finer grade of cotton identified as I! is now being sold in huge balefuls in Thailand, Taiv Japan, Hong Kong and China. Markets in these count which had earlier waited for the prices to drop have sk ed to purchasing the cheaper cotton to make up for shortfalls before the end of the year.
