The Supreme Court has directed the Karnataka Government to provide information about the use of forestland for the proposed Kalasa Banduri Nalla project, following objections from the Goa government. In an appeal before the apex court, the Goa government has alleged that Karnataka has been violating the Forest Protection Act by using forestland for the project.
