Chhattisgarh's ambitious township project Kamal Vihar would finally see the light of day as the High Court rejected the petitions filed against the land acquisition for the project. Kamal Vihar, an ambitious township project, would come up at the outskirts of the capital city in the line of modern housing projects in Chandigarh, Noida and Ahmedabad. The township will be set up in 15 sectors in a sprawling 1,600 acres of land with an estimated cost of about Rs 816 crore. Raipur Development Authority (RDA) will execute the project.
