New Delhi: The Delhi high court on Thursday directed the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) to work towards bringing decibel levels in and around Indira Gandhi International Airport down in accordance with international standards.
The Delhi High Court has directed the Central Pollution Control Board to fix noise level standards at Indira Gandhi International Airport by July 22. Justice Muralidhar was hearing a PIL filed by residents of Vasant Kunj and patients of a hospital who had complained of noise pollution near the airport.
