10,000 concrete houses for cyclone-hit people within 3 months
The State government has allotted 10,000 concrete houses to be built for cyclone ‘Thane’ affected people of Villupuram district, according to Collector V. Sampath. Addressing a meeting of officials on procedures to be adopted in the implementation of the scheme here on Tuesday, he said that each unit would be built on 200 sq.ft of land at a cost of Rs. 1 lakh.
