Government raises allocation for small dams by Rs 2bn
The government Wednesday has increased the allocation for 12 small dams to Rs 19 billion from earlier allocation of Rs 17 billion under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the year 2011-12, sources told Daily Times. Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh made this announcement at the Ministry of Water and Power to review the construction of 12 small and medium dams in all the four provinces.
