Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zone Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Yashwant Polkheda Vs State of Madhya Pradesh & Others dated 06/03/2024.
A letter petition was received on the basis of a complaint filed by Yashwant Polkheda against illegal mining in Kali Sindh river in Jirapur tehsil, district Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh.
The NGT directed that the copy of the application be forwarded to the District Magistrate, Rajgarh for taking necessary action and to ensure that there shall not be any illegal mining in violation of environmental rules.
