Statistical abstract of Delhi 2019
The present Statistical Abstract 2019 is the Nineth in the series brought out by the Directorate on the basis of secondary data sources. The uniqueness of Statistical Abstract is that it contains time series data on various socio-economic parameters and serves as an effective quantitative tool for reaching to logical conclusions in the context of planning and public policy making. The major coverage under this abstract includes population, data on different sectors of the economy, namely, agriculture, industry and infrastructure sector, economic indicators like Gross State Domestic Product & Per Capita Income, level & pattern of household consumer expenditure, poverty, prices etc. This publication has taken care to include information on social welfare aspects too. Moreover, data of other states/UTs has also been reflected in respect of selected indicators for comparison purpose.
