Damage Of Crops Due To Heavy Rains
There have been extreme weather events in the form of heavy rains in some parts of the country which affected the standing crops. Among states, Bihar is mostly affected, where 9,22,038.82 hectares area of paddy, maize, fruits and vegetables are affected due to heavy rains, said Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister Of Agriculture And Farmers Welfare in Rajya Sabha.
