Delhi Electric Vehicles Policy, 2020
The Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy, 2020, shall remain valid for a period of three years from the date of issue of this policy. To drive large scale adoption of Electric Vehicles and maximize reduction of vehicle pollution, the policy focuses attention on incentivizing the purchase and use of electric two wheelers and supporting the electrification of public/shared transport and goods carriers. Under this policy, the Delhi government will provide incentives of up to 1.5 lakh for the purchase of new electric cars while incentives for e-two-wheelers, autos, e-rickshaws and freight vehicles will be up to ₹30,000.
