Non compliance of CETP, Jajmau, Kanpur
Whereas, CETP at Jajmau, Kanpur is based on UASB technology for treatment of 9 MLD tannery effluent after mixing with 27 MLD domestic seweage and thus having design capacity of 36 MLD. About 350 tanneries discharge their effluent into the CETP Jajmau through pumping station located on these drains namely, Sheetla Bazaar, Wajidpur drain and Budhiya ghat drain in Jajmau.
