Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Pratap Singh Vs Himanchal Pradesh Public Works Department & Others dated 25/11/2019 regarding cutting of trees during construction of road from Chirpurche onwards to Fochitang- Ramni in District Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. The applicant has alleged that forest clearance has been granted by dividing bigger portions into two parts and by changing the route of construction.
The Tribunal directed the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force), Himachal Pradesh to submit a factual and action taken report within one month.
