Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Priyanka Modern Sr. Secondary School Vs Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board & Others dated 13/11/2019 regarding operation of boilers of distillery unit operated by M/s Dhampur Sugar Mills in District Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. The same is affecting the health of the students in the vicinity.
The Tribunal directed the Uttar Pradesh State Pollution Control Board (UPSPCB) and the District Magistrate, Bijnor to look into the matter, take action in accordance with law and furnish a factual and action taken report in the matter within one month.
