Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding construction industry not following norms in banquet hall construction, Haryana, 30/08/2019
Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Varun Sheokand Vs Union of India & Others dated 30/08/2019 regarding illegal mining and construction activity by M/s Glen Apple Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. Construction of a five-star banquet hall without the requisite ‘Consent to Establish’ has started, which is a violation of mining norms as well as ground water extraction norms and other required consents. The illegal activities are causing damage to the environment and the public health.
The Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) has been directed to submit a report on the matter.
