Development and climate change in the Mekong Region: case studies
This volume brings together a new set of multi-country empirical case studies that contribute to the understanding the complexities of development and resource governance in the context of climate change in the Mekong Region. In the countries of the Mekong Region: Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, environmental sustainability continues to be a major concern. As rapid economic growth and increased regional economic integration continues apace, environmental degradation is taking a huge toll on ecosystems and livelihoods.
