Technical guidelines for diagnosis & management of Hepatitis B
The National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme, a new initiative under the National Health Mission, marks the beginning of the nation’s journey to control Viral Hepatitis and thereby reducing mortality and morbidity attributed to it. It is envisioned that this programme wilt reach large number of persons possible harboring the infection. This document provides implementation strategies for treatment of Hepatitis B on how to reverse this alarming trend of Viral Hepatitis B, describing a number of high-impact interventions and opportunities for their scaled-up implementation.
