Order of the Supreme Court of India regarding solid waste management, Delhi, 06/08/2018
Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of In Re: Outrage as Parents End Life After Child's Dengue dated 06/08/2018 regarding solid waste management.
The four kinds of household waste according to the Supreme Court need to be segregated for a proper management of solid waste in the city of Delhi. The Court has been informed that " some sort of a pilot project has been launched in Green Park, Defence Colony, Maharani Bagh and Lajpat Nagar". Court wants full details of this pilot project. The Court also stated that on the next date of hearing the Court will also consider the submissions with regard to alternative landfill sites in Sonia Vihar and Ghonda Gujjran.
