Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Uttamrao Vitthalrao Bhondwe Vrs. State of Maharashtra & Ors. dated 07/04/2016 regarding quarries and stone crushers operating in eastern edge of Haveli taluka, Wagholi , Bhavadi, Lonikand and Perene, Pune, Maharashtra.
Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board has issued closure notice to 88 stone crushers out of existing 165 crushers and also directions are issued to the concerned Executive Engineer of the Electricity Board to disconnect the electric supply.
