Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Uma Oberoi Vs. Govt. of NCT, Delhi & Others dated 10/06/2015 regarding felling of trees for raising the boundary wall or any other construction.
The representative of Govt. of NCT from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kapashera submits and gives an undertaking to the Tribunal that they would not fell or damage any tree during the construction of the boundary wall that they propose to construct. Further they would ensure that no trees are felled and roots of any tree get exposed, will provide with soil layer immediately and they shall ensure that no damage is caused to the trees.
