Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding high pollution of air in NCR Delhi, 28/04/2015
NGT has ordered for complete ban on burning of waste in open including garbage, leaves, plastic and crop residues and said that violators will be fined Rs. 5,000.
Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Ors dated 28/04/2015 regarding high pollution of air in NCR Delhi.
The Tribunal noted that ambient air quality of NCR of Delhi violates all prescribed norms and standards. The polluted air in NCR Delhi is injurious to human health particularly young children.
