Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 27/10/2014 regarding air pollution resulting from various activities i.e. motor vehicle, plastic burning, fire crackers and industrial emissions. The Tribunal also directed Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests to urgently hold the meeting with Additional Secretary from the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Petroleum, Ministry of Urban Development, the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, the Member Secretary, Central Pollution Control Board, the Member Secretary, Delhi Pollution Control Committee and a Professor from I.I.T., Delhi having expertise in air pollution.
