Pakistan Millennium Development Goals report 2013

The Millennium Development Goals report is a continuing assessment of human development, poverty reduction and environmental sustainability as well as cooperation of the world community in achieving the set targets as part of the overall development goals for the country. This report sets out the national progress in achieving the eight MDGs based on national targets tailored to Pakistan’s development circumstances. The report highlights the progress made and the challenges faced in meeting the MDGs. The aim of the report is to assess progress towards achievement of the MDGs, document achievements and challenges, and help frame the post-2015 development agenda for Pakistan in the light of Pakistan Vision 2025. This report, developed through a wide consultative process, presents the progress made for each of the MDGs, the challenges encountered along the way, and a concrete set of actions needed to keep the Pakistan on track to achieve the MDGs.
