CDP global forests report 2013
CDP’s forests program acts on behalf of investors to collect information from companies on the operational, reputational and regulatory risks and opportunities, and the value creation and erosion, resulting from their exposure to deforestation, which accounts for 10-15% of global CO2 emissions – equivalent to the entire transport sector. The report gives an insight into how companies are addressing their exposure to risks from the agricultural commodities responsible for most deforestation globally.
