From traditional means of palanquins to modern means of transportation, the face of Indian transportation system has progressed at a rapid pace since the inception of economic liberalization of the 1990s. India's public transports systems which is rising by almost 10% a year are among the most heavily used in the world but the access to these modes of transport has not been uniform and are still riddled with problems due to poor or outdated infrastructure and lack of investment. The present paper provides an overview of city bus service in Lucknow city followed by attitude of passengers / commuters towards it.
