DVB prepares action plan
after another disastrous year, the Delhi Vidyut Board (dvb) has prepared an action plan to meet the requirement of the city during the summer next year.
According to a technical committee member of the dvb, the board is also planning to install a new power plant. "It will cost around Rs 800 crore and will generate an additional 350 mw power. The dvb has already cleared the proposal and bhel will be executing the order,' the member said.
The board is also planning to renovate and modernise all the four units at the Indraprastha Power plant. These units are almost 30 years old and all four units would be renovated one by one.
