Gujarat Biodiversity Board
Government of Gujarat has established Gujarat Biodiversity Board (GBB) in the year 2006 vide its notification no. GVN/2006/8/WLP/2003/177/G1; dated: 11/05/2006 under section 22 of the Act. The Board is actively engaged in the formation of Biodiversity Management Committees (BMCs) at the level of the local bodies of the state.
