Walkability forum: better air quality and livable cities
A Walkability Forum: Better Air Quality and Livable Cities was conducted by CAI-Asia in association with the Institute of Urban Transport (IUT) on 22 June at the Magnolia Hall in the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The objective of the seminar was to provide an overview of walkability and pedestrian initiatives and best practices in Asia. It was not only the culmination of the activities on walkability carried out by CAI-Asia across various cities in India but also an insight into the future of walkability in India - the challenges, the potential emission savings and policy interventions required making cities livable.
