Gujarat Pollution Control Board
Now commonly known as GPCB - Gujarat Pollution Control Board, was constituted by Government of Gujarat on 15th October, 1974 in accordance with the provision of the Water Act, 1974. The GPCB continued its efforts towards environment related better pollution control and improved management. Several critical issues in the field of environment are being tackled by the Board through its existing Regional Offices.
