CREATING AWARENESS
Asia's first drug information network has become operational in Kathmandu from September 23. The network aims at providing pharmacists, students, researchers, consumers and patients among others, information pertaining to drugs like regulatory mechanisms, dosage, storage, availability, prices etc. It can be accessed through telephone, mail or person-to-person contact. The network has five different organisations with the department of drug administration serving as the nodal point.
