Climate change and sustainable agriculture: securing the small and marginal farmer in India

This brief has sought to collate and evaluate some of the methods and processes that have been developed to aid farmers in the battle against rising temperatures, changing sea levels and erratic rainfalls. Furthermore, this brief makes a series of policy recommendations, with the aim to influence government legislation that can in the long-term help to reduce the devastating impact climate change will have on the agricultural sector in India.
