Kaziranga - Making way for the tiger reserve
Assam's Kaziranga National Park (KNP) - the abode of the Great one-horned rhinoceros lies in the flood plains of the Brahmaputra River. Significantly, Kaziranga also has a high density tiger population and is one of the national tiger reserves established in India.
