LE A D TO DEATH
Over 10 million residents of Dhaka are now having to contend with an ever increasing amount of lead in the air, a recent survey by the Shishu Hospital confirmed. This increase in lead content may be attributed to polluting vehicles. According to a World Bank report, 15,000 people die every year and thousands suffer from pollution-related diseases.
