HEALTHY POLICY
Bangladesh government recently released the country's first National Health Policy 2000. Facilitating health services to the poor, reducing malnutrition levels and strengthening the family planning programme are the basic aims of the policy that has been formulated as per the recommendations of the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1978 and the World Summit for the Children of 1990, among other things.
