Major dams have just 20 % of water
Himanshu Kaushik I TNN Gandhinagar: Of the 193 small, medium and major irrigation dams in the state, only two have 40 to 60 per cent water of their storage capacity. These dams, which are the major source of drinking water in rural areas and towns have just 20.7 per cent of water as against their storage capacity.
