First Swine flu case confirmed in Hyderabad
A 23-year old youth belonging to Hyderabad was tested positive for the H1N1 strain of virus that causes swine flu. This is first confirmed case of swine flu in the country. The test was conducted by the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) in New Delhi and the report was delivered to the Government Chest Hospital here on Saturday.
