Conservation of lakes: Issues & applications
This paper focuses on the Bangalore wetland region as a case study and analyzes the current situation and scope of the conservation in the catchments area. The major threats to the Bangalore lake originate from human activity in the catchments, resulting in alterations in the water balance and water quality.
