World Bank experts help Wasa cut water losses

World Bank (WB) consultants on Monday offered their services to the Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) for reducing water losses in the city to ensure round-the-clock supply of drinking water while utilising the available sources. The WB experts on a three-day visit to Rawalpindi would come up with a methodology for Wasa to reduce line losses by identifying faults in the water supply networks, replacement of pipelines, unaccountable water and water theft in various areas of Rawalpindi.
