PCB to plant 3,000 trees
Pune, August 03 As part of its initiative to make cantonment areas greener, the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) has organised a mass tree plantation drive on the premises of the Race Course. On August 5, a total of 3,000 saplings will be planted at various spots inside the Race Course premises. "Students and staff from several schools and organisations respectively from the cantonment zone have been invited to participate in the project, which will be phase two of the board's tree plantation initiative," said S K Sardana, chief executive officer (CEO), PCB.
