State Govt takes loan of Rs 20,145 cr
The State Government has taken loan worth Rs 20,145.39 crore as on March 31, 2008. The break-up of the loan amount is Rs 8,259.95 crore (market loan), Rs 2,685.94 crore (Central Government), Rs 489.86 crore (Others), Rs 4,710.53 crore (National Small Saving Fund) and Rs 3,999.19 (State Provident Fund). The per capita loan amount for the State is Rs 6,806.
