Film festival to spread awareness on environment
An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore's 90-minute award winning film on global warming and its effects on world's societies and economies; The Vanishing Vultures, a 20-minute documentary on the country's almost-extinct scavenger birds; Can We Save Planet Earth, legendary British naturalist Sir David Attenborough's hour-long film, and the self-explanatory A Tribute To Steve Irvin Crocodile Hunter. These are names of just a few films that will be featured in Mumbai's Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, from Thursday to commemorate the World Environment Day, this year.
