US states sue EPA again
A group of 18 us states and environmental organizations have once again sued the us environmental protection agency (epa). The petition is an attempt to force the us government to come up with a legislation to curb greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles.
The petitioners accused epa of deliberately "dragging its feet' on the issue and of violating the ruling of the us supreme court. In April last year, the court ruled that epa had the authority to regulate emissions from new cars and trucks under the Clean Air Act. epa has not acted on the court's ruling.
