Cars that care
rather than manufacturing flashy and "dream models', the new mantra for carmakers around the world seems to be "ecological' and "environmentally-friendly'. The 32nd Tokyo Motor Show which was held between October 24 and November 5 in Japan, featured 771 concept and production models displayed by 64 companies from 14 countries.
Many carmakers at the show were eager to demonstrate their concern for the ecology. They rolled out a fleet of compact cars equipped with new technologies powered purely by electricity that save fuel and reduce or eliminate emissions. Exhibited at the show were hybrid electric and gasoline powertrains
