Another leopard on the prowl
Ahmedabad: Days after two leopards stalking Gandhinagar were caught, one more leopard has been spotted near Dehgam in Gandhinagar district in the last one month. Earlier this month, one leopard was caught from Kalol and another near Sant Sarovar dam in Gandhinagar. Both were sent to Sakkarbaug Zoo in Junagadh and later released in the jungle.

Bhavnagar: Two lion cubs were found dead on the outskirts of Rani village, bordering Gir forest that falls in Jesar taluka of Bhavnagar district on Thursday morning. Investigations revealed the cubs were killed by a lion of another pride during a fight among themselves, said foresters here.

Five units sealed for using biomedical waste
Ahmedabad : Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) sealed five units in city on Monday after investigation reports proved that they were using biomedical waste for packaging food items and medicines. Most of them were bottling units. Sealed units include Gujarat Pharma Laboratory, Ketlik Pharma, Shri Madh traders, Gujarat Remedies and Medivate laboratories.
