Minister of State for Defence M.M. Pallam Raju said that a rural health programme is being taken up on a large-scale under the National Rural Health Mission and Rajiv Arogya Sri programme. State government is contemplating to set up a petro chemical corridor in the coastal area shortly. Minister for major industries J. The Karimnagar Municipal Corporation has embarked on construction of a new filter bed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.30 crore near the Lower Manair Dam (LMD) in the town.
