NEW DELHI: Will the BJP abolish the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) if it comes to power? This question came from the Congress on Thursday.
Beginning Friday, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will supply water for an additional half an hour from 5.30 pm onwards. A circular was issued on Thursday in this regard after the Gujarat election commission gave a go ahead for the supply. AMC convinced the state election officer that the half hour supply was a yearly routine during peak summers. The evening supply would be on till June 15.
